On the Trail of Muddy Paws

Our pets can sometimes leave a mess in our living spaces. Here are some tips to keep the house clean and everybody happy!

1. Invest in a vacuum for pet hair

One of the most common issues when having pets is getting rid of cat and dog hair on the carpets and furniture. While regular grooming can help reduce shedding, it's best to vacuum floors and upholstery at least once a week to manage pet hair. Consider investing in a vacuum cleaner specifically designed for pet owners.

2. Use the right cleaner

Sometimes, accidents can happen. When they occur, clean the stain as soon as possible with  an enzymatic cleaner, this can help keep your home clean and smelling fresh!

3. Clean up their toys

It’s important to give your pets toys a deep clean. Soft toys can be machine-washed in lukewarm water. Rubber and plastic toys can go in the dishwasher or soaked in hot water and vinegar before giving them a good scrub.

All these steps should ensure a cleaner and safer place to live for both your family and pets.
